Symptoms
When your tyres need replacing
- The tread is close to the legal minimum of 1.6 mm.
- You can see cracks, bulges or cuts in the sidewall.
- One side is wearing faster than the other.
- The steering wheel vibrates at certain speeds.
- The tyres are many years old, even if there's still tread left.

Frequently asked questions: Tyres in Mallorca
Where can I find my tyre size?
On the sidewall of the tyre, in a code like 205/55 R16 91V. Send us a photo on WhatsApp and we'll check it for you.
What's the legal minimum tread depth?
1.6 mm across the main grooves. For safety, it's best to replace them before that, especially in the wet.
Do I have to change all four at once?
Not always. We recommend changing them per axle, with both tyres on the same axle replaced at the same time.
Do you repair punctures?
Yes, when the puncture is in the tread and it's safe to repair. If it's in the sidewall, the tyre has to be replaced.
Why are my tyres wearing on one side?
It's usually incorrect pressures or the suspension geometry. We check it and tell you what to do.
